What is Disability Action Month

In the spirit of inclusion and empowerment, we're thrilled to shine a spotlight on Disability Action Month and the incredible work being done at Sporting Wheelies. Throughout this month, we invite you to join us in recognising the resilience, talent, and determination of individuals with disabilities, as well as the positive impact they bring to our communities.
At Sporting Wheelies, our mission is to break down barriers and create opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in sports and recreational activities. We firmly believe that everyone deserves a chance to thrive, regardless of their abilities or challenges. Through adaptive sports programs, personalized coaching, and a supportive community, we are dedicated to helping individuals discover their true potential.
Disability Action Month is the perfect time to showcase the achievements of our members, who continually inspire us with their passion and dedication. Charge an entry fee for each team or encourage them to collect donations from classmates and teachers.

  • Educational Component: Alongside these activities, remind students about the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and the importance of adaptive sports.
